Teething Rings Recalled over Ingestion Risk

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 7,000 teething rings due to ingestion risk in infants. If the product, the Cool-it Soother by Vulli, is punctured, "bacteria and mold can grow inside the teether's untreated liquid," posing an ingestion hazard, the company reported. There have been no injuries or illnesses related to the product.  Staff Report, PR Newswire  01/12/2011
