Man Blinded in Car Accident Files Suit
An Arizona man who was left blind when he was hit by a local school teacher while on his motorcycle has filed a lawsuit against the school and town in which the accident happened. The teacher was en route to a training session when she failed to yield at an intersection and slammed into the plaintiff on his motorcycle. The suit said the district is liable for employee conduct and the town is liable for the "inherently unsafe" intersection.  Megan Gordon, Arizona Republic  10/23/2010
