If you're a land owner who may be affected by the Austin Mobility Program South Lamar Boulevard Improvements Project, this information may be helpful to you. My name is David Todd, I'm an eminent domain attorney in Austin, Texas. And we're going to be helping land owners with this project. As you can see from the map, it's a little hard to see, I apologize, some of it is covered up, but it goes from all the way from Ben White, along South Lamar, all the way over to West Riverside Drive. The city of Austin is doing this project as part of the larger Lamar Improvement Project that has North and South and central components. The Southern portion involves widening and reconstructing South Lamar Boulevard from Riverside Drive and Barton Springs Road, and from Barton Springs Road to US 90.
The final plans were promulgated in the summer of 2020 and then with the idea of starting construction in 2021,.that may have been delayed a little bit by the pandemic, but for the Barton Springs portion, Barton Springs to US 290, the final design plans are scheduled for fall of 2021 with construction possibly soon thereafter. If you are affected by this or any portion of the Barton Springs Project, contact us at DavidToddLaw.com, get our free Texas eminent domain guide, and then find out how we can help you get the best outcome for you and your property.
