The proposed project consists of widening SH 302 from west of Mentone at US 285 to east of Notrees at FM 2019 from a two-lane undivided highway to a four-lane divided highway with two travel lanes in each direction, a center median, inside and outside shoulders and median openings, as needed. The proposed project is approximately 59-miles long. At this time, there are no proposed improvements within Mentone or Kermit in the following Texas counties: Reeves, Loving, Winkler, Ector.
