The proposed improvements include realigning FM 157 to include one 14-foot-wide travel lane in each direction, 12-foot-wide left-turn and rightturn-only lanes, sidewalks, 10-foot-wide shared-use paths, traffic signals, closedsystem drainage structures and culvert improvements. Other proposed improvements include reconstructing 8th Street from FM 157 intersection to CR 109 to include one 12-foot-wide travel lane in each direction with a left-turn-only lane at Oak Street. Other proposed improvements include extending Oak Street
to the proposed FM 157 and removing the existing FM 157 south of CR 109 to the proposed realigned FM 157. The proposed project would enhance safety, pedestrian accessibility and traffic circulation in Johnson County, Texas.
