Garland is proposing to build the new single-circuit line on primarily double-circuit capable steel and/or concrete single-pole structures. The line would extend from the expansion of the Dent Road substation, generally to the northwest, until it reaches the existing Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA) Shelby substation.
