The FM 1387 project being built by TxDOT or the Texas Department of Transportation is happening up in Ellis County, and here's what you should know about the project and the schedule. My name is David Todd, I'm an eminent domain attorney in Austin, Texas, and we're helping folks on this particular project and wanted to let you know a little bit more about it. As I said, TxDOT or Texas Department of Transportation is the one building this project. The goal here is to improve a little less than six miles of FM 1387 from North Midlothian Parkway to FM 664. This is happening up in Ellis County.

They had the public meeting about this in September of 2020, and then the schedule shows that even though they may not start building till 2024, in the fall, right-of-way acquisition, which means taking of properties for this project is scheduled to start in the fall of 2021. If you're affected by this project, go to our website, davidtoddlaw.com, download our free eminent domain guide and then contact us to see how we can help you make sure you protect your rights and get maximum value for your property. Check out the map here, check out the guide and let us know if we can be of assistance.
